This is the demo for Sweet Dream, a 2D hand drawn Metroid Vania where you find yourself stuck in a candy world.
Explore this dangerous sugary land with stunning... well... ok graphics whilst discovering new gameplay mechanics that will leave you screaming; "Wow! That was very unintuitive."

This game is currently in development and still needs a lot of work. This is the first official demo so, if you would like to help, please give us all the feedback and bug reports you can. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Open Source
This game was made (mostly) using open source software . The code was written on Linux and there is planned support for Linux and Windows on release.

A user by the name of Manecort reuploaded your game and infected it with malware.
I've already did my part and submitted a report to Itch.io Staff
We are aware of the issue and we have reported the game page and tried to leave comments warning people, but they have been deleted. We have issued a DMCA take down request that doesn't seem to have done anything, and are trying to contact Itch customer support. So far we have had no success, but we are trying our best to get this thing taken down. Thank you for reporting the page, it might finally get Itch's attention.
